Repair and Overhaul

A number of DoD and Federal Senate Estimate Reports have highlighted Rosebank’s strategic worth and returns to Defence. On 7 December 2006, the Defence Materiel Organisation (DMO) acknowledged our continuing contributions in the first ever issue of a Defence Materiel Instruction (Industry) 1/2006 to retain the high precision engineering service provided by Rosebank Engineering in-country that, in some instances, are a critical determinant in the level of operational capability provided by these platforms.
 
Rosebank Engineering currently holds the RAAF Engineering Authority (EA) delegated by the Director General of Technical Airworthiness to approve non-significant and significant design on hydraulic, fuel systems, mechanical, and flight control components and support equipment. The EA covers the following aircraft types in service with the DoD; F/A-18, F-111, S-70B-2 Seahawk, DHC4 Caribou, B707, C130H and J Hercules, PC-9, S-70A-9 Blackhawk, CH47 Chinook, UH-1H Iroquois, Bell 206 Kiowa, Squirrel and Support Equipment.
