Transition of F/A-18 Hydraulics

Another string has been added to Rosebank Engineering’s bow with the completion of transition of F/A-18 flight control components from Qantas Defence Services Bankstown to Rosebank Engineering Amberley. The transition schedule was relatively tight transition commencing on 01 July 03, culminating in commencement of production 25 August 03. Transition required dismantling of equipment, collection and packaging of components, spares, tooling and documents, and transportation to Amberley, assembly and installation in the workshops at Amberley. RBE Amberley will be responsible for the F/A-18 TEF, LEF, Horizontal Stabiliser, Aileron, and Rudder Servo Actuators along with Landing Gear Shuttle Valve, Nose Wheel Steering Servo Valve, and Fuel Tube assembly.
