TESA, the world-leading Swiss measuring equipment manufacturer, has led a breakthrough in the field of dimensional metrology inspection with the introduction of their TESA Micro-Hite 3D.  This measuring system fills the gap between the conventional precision measuring hand tool and the coordinate measuring machine.  This Swiss made product is ergonomically designed and built at TESA, where stringent quality control tests are carried out, ensuring that all machines have the Swiss standard of quality, precision, reliability and durability.

TESA Micro-Hite 3D has a measurement repeatability of 3 microns, over a measuring volume of 400 x 450 x 500mm.  In addition, it is easy to operate with a control panel that comes equipped with interactive user friendly TESA REFLEX application software.   TESA REFLEX provides the functional measurement of a calliper, height gauge, dial indicator, as well as CMM capabilities.

TESA Micro-Hite 3D has features that are suited for both workshop and measurement laboratory applications.  It is made from materials that have a similar coefficient of expansion, so it can be used in non-temperature controlled workshop environments.

TESA Micro-Hite 3D can be supplied with a choice of two innovative Swiss made electronic probes; TESASTAR with adjustable trigger force or TESASTAR-i.  TESASTAR-i uses a touch trigger probe, has indexing capability over 168 positions by increments of 15 degrees and single handed release operation.
